PoE 2 Chance Orb

The Orb of Chance upgrades a Normal-rarity item into a random Unique that shares the same base type. Community sample testing suggests the success rate is around 0.5-5% per use, varying by base. If the chance roll fails, the base item is destroyed. Use Omen of Chance to protect the base: with an active Omen, a failed roll leaves the item intact instead of breaking it.

The best targets are bases with high-value Unique pools that have no alternative craft path. Belts, amulets, and rings are common picks for chasing items like Headhunter. Always check a base's full Unique pool before committing. Some bases only have one Unique in their pool, others have more than five.
